I remember the F1 communities here being pretty good and active around the reddit API change exodus times.
Not sure if they still are as I stay away due to not being able to watch most races live.

If something interests me I add it to the list. Not overly concerned with critical opinion if its negative.
Sometimes I will seek other things based on enjoying something. So an actor or director’s other works for example.
Talking to people and finding out what they enjoy and then evaluating whether or not it is interesting to you is a good way to isolate something. For example KPop Demon Hunters looked like slop to me (and I enjoy some Korean media), but someone at work started talking about it and that got me just interested enough to take a look into it and them watch and subsequently enjoy it.

There would be annual expeditions to try and defeat whatever is causing it.

I’ve only quit jobs when moving, one I gave 2 months notice and confirmed I would be around for two peak periods. I have done what you did without the vacation bit. Tell them first and then give them the letter.

I’ll go back to Ubuntu Touch. I used it a year ago and it wasn’t completely compatible with Fairphone. Now it is.

Show her some pictures or videos of DEs and see what she likes. If she’s someone who likes to make it look the way she wants, she might get a bit more out of KDE than Cinnamon for example.
I find this resistance weird. (From the “normies”, not the Signal users)
Most of them have phones filled with all sorts of crap that they download willy nilly, yet they only seem to put the walls up for Signal.

It’s a great system. Worth just clarifying that the “nominating” is just the candidate suggesting who to put which numbers next to, not actually them saying who the runoff vote goes to.

Ah that makes sense. Thanks.

Why is that? (Genuine curiosity)
The original Macross opening theme is epic. (As in what the word used to mean)
The theme by Anri from the first season of Cat’s Eye (the original, not the remake releasing now) absolutely slaps. Second season theme (Derringer by Mariko Tome) isn’t too bad either. The ending themes are pretty corny but they grew on me.
Evangelion opening and ending (Fly Me to the Moon, not the Rei themes on the Netflix version)
I can’t remember which season it was in but Seize the Day from Laidback Camp is one of the happiest songs I’ve heard.
Samurai Champloo might have the best music of any anime. The gateway to Nujabes who would become my favourite artist.

Keys, phone, wallet. Watch if needing to know the time is relevant on my trip.
I’m a simple man.
Tempo is beautiful. I was using it but was having some crashes so I switched to dsub2000. Not as pretty but functioned better for me. Tempo is a fantastic choice though.
Tried dual booting Ubuntu and XP back around 2006, didn’t really see the point because gaming on Windows.
2020 got a Raspberry Pi and set up Retropie which gave me a good intro to Linux. Tried to get away from big tech in 2021 and was dual booting Mint and Windows 10. Ended up spending more time in 10 because gaming.
Got an old laptop from work and it was perfect to throw Mint on because no way it was going to handle gaming. Then I set up a media server, initially with the the Pi and then bought a cheap mini for it - and ran it on Mint. I’m primarily a console gamer now so gaming is far less of a concern for me on PC. Mint everything now.
I could distro hop or at least try something else, and maybe I will at some stage. But I’m too happy with Mint/Cinnamon to bother.
Thank you for this. I’ve been under the impression that energy drinks had more than coffee for years now.

You might get lucky just using the browser.
But unless you’re using pihole or some sort of DNS based ad blocking you will likely get smashed with ads.

Cater to the audience. Being understood is more useful than being right.
Wordpress is what you are looking for. You can even create the page in a word processor of choice and just paste it in.

That will help with the backlog.
I wouldn’t be so sure about that. The state government of Queensland, Australia just lifted a 12 year ban on IBM getting government contracts after a colossal fuck up.
