I initially read this as a toy ragdoll, and your aunt bringing the toy doll and a comb and silently demanding people to comb the hair on the doll.

Well fuck me, I never ever questioned the strength of her fully extended arm just casually throwing boxes around, not for a single moment.

My guess is licking is just tightly wired to the feeling of getting brushed, as they use their tongue to brush themselves.
