I wonder why Manjaro. Seems like a strange pick to me.
One of reasons could be because manjaro is also porting their Zotac launcher, which is going to support GOG, Epic games and Steam out of the box rather than having just Steam and it’s going to stand out from Steam Deck and other windows handhelds.
That’s because you’re used to letting other people on forums do your thinking for you.
What the hell does that even mean and how did you come to that conclusion?
If I had to guess because SteamOS is based on Arch and Manjaro being easy to use and based on it as well saves R&D.
It’s a shame Majaro of all distros have a good outreach to companies. I wish better distros had the outreach and connections they do.

I’m glad companies choose practicality over bandwagoning and memes in this regard.
I’m not big on the sharp looking corners but everthing else feels “now we’re talking”-y. eGPU support sounds really cool for making a docking station, down facing usb is appealing for that too. More than two underside buttons would be nice and a headset jack (as opposed to just headphones) would be nice though
They need to pick a new color for those analog sticks because they look absolutely gross. Like they’ve been used by everyone for years and it’s stained with bits of food and other residue.
Minor thing on my part, but first thing that came to mind seeing that picture.
