I don’t get it. I’ve never been addicted to my phone. It’s just something I can look stuff up on listen to music and maybe remote to my server. Oh also navigation I used that every day when working.

How is it bad for the user? Most people don’t care and enjoy using their phones. Is it hurting them using iPhone or Android?

Well if your not running Google’s OS. how can they push updates. My issue with GrapheneOS is the trackers. It well not warn if trackers are following you and if you have trackers you well spam everyone with unknown tracker following you.

Not to mention navigation and using the car screen.

Your banks are way more secure or limited. Here we just log in. Maybe get a text for a code.

Not even close by the time you get the car the maps are years out of date. And POI not even close to google or apple maps.

The no NAT thing really messed with my brain and was probably the hardest thing to overcome for me.

Nix is great if your fine with the packages and configuration they provide. If you want other stuff or features not provided it is a giant pain in the ass and not worth it. And you’ll get oh just write a flake or just write a package file for it.

Tried it didn’t like it. To much work to get somethings working. Went back to docker.
