835·1 year agoI wish had a dime for every time I’ve seen a homeless person walk into a McDonalds, Jack In The Box or similar, just fill up their skanky ass cup (I even saw one take a cup out of the trash can outside first) from the machine and walk out, of course without paying. Like it or not this move makes sense. I don’t mind asking an employee for a refill.
I seem to recall an on-screen warning from William S Sessions of the FBI when playing arcade games ages ago as well…?

1·2 years agoMicrosoft ToDo or Zenkit Tasks. Neither are self hosted but they work perfectly with multiuser setups.
I’ll try to capture a video of the way she unceremoniously, disrespectfully flops into that space and then kicks and twists around to get into that position. So far the “confused my leg for a companion” comment is my favourite.
The wife was lying there earlier, she had put some pain relief gel on her foot and a sock as well but didn’t want anything on the sofa. Yes, I know it’s not an optimal solution.
I recommend putting some time into figuring out why the laptop is spontaneously rebooting. Check the event log as a start. Otherwise this same issue is going to happen with another app and it probably won’t have anything to do with whether or not that app autosaves.
