for common ones spaghetti but im sure there are likely escoteric ones im unaware of thats worse. I like smaller ones that are a nice bite amount and hold sauce well. Spiral and tortellini are my favorite.

Working in tech I seriously curtailed customization on my machine to only what I really wanted and this was because I would so often have to deal with defaults or other peoples customization’s.

This is about right. Its a great general interest thing and you have some really great folks but you don’t have a ton of pathfinder people talking about pathfinder or sto people talking about sto on an sto sub, etc. so we have a general gaming community that is pretty active but if you want to know day to day whats happening with a particular game. not so much.

I just like being in nature. When it comes to travel walking is first choice, then biking, then public transit and I like to do a route that will bring me closest to or through nature. forest preserves is possible and then parks but I like even seeing just neighborhoods and towns. destinations are just whatever. job, store, etc. doing that means you have to spend more time getting to destinations but turns unenjoyable things to more enjoyable for me.

that meme is sorta funny. that is actually normal behavior. disney was known for going after people making no money. like literally school plays or such.

This stuff sorta cracks me up. The titles always sound like this is the way we are going but every company that does not need workers in office who are not encumbered with real estate are embracing the fuck out of wfh and even some with it are doing it to remain competitive with talent. There will be more and more going that way as they can get out of or finish contracts or sell off real estate as that is what makes economic sense. Smart ones to me will look to have more smaller office spread out near good transit setup for customer presentation. kitchenette combined with a large meeting room and several break out meeting rooms with good wireless and AV equipment. then local employees can go in and use them when they have need so they don’t have to work out of a loud coffee shop.

have you shown this to real life friends and family? people need to know to keep an eye on you and if you know who this person is, them as well. – oh also if its a local station and you talked to a person come back and show the response. likely they are full of shit and I will tell you that there are actually plenty of cops who want to protect and serve despite internet overall feelings on cops. I was stopping by once a week with videos of the gangbangers in a bad neighborhood and you could see the cops were not happy this shit was happening. Eventually the gangbangers learned that if they could see my house it could see them and they did not hang out in visual distance of it.

this actually is sorta a wierd thing with me. when the internet was becoming more mainstream I was in a graduate program and then starting out in making something of my degree so I sorta missed the changeover from command line to www (I did not really get what my cs friend was doing in college). So like in 97 I was like. WTF?

oh the early nineties were not the world wide web. It existed but not commonaly. I had a cs friend trying to do some html and I did not even realize what he was doing until years later.

its sad really. the school system was supposed to sorta act as a public space. sorta like community colleges. kids in the day and adults at night. modern world is so messed up though.

its so scary to me what they are doing when they have not even been seated yet.
