Yes there absolutely was, probably actually before windows 95. But even in 95 there were a lot of crappy ascii art games bcz there wasn’t anything better technologically, so nobody would actually call it crappy.

Same, I could play it if it was like nes pixel art even. But this looks like it was developed on windows 95 when only ascii art was available.
And the constant text updating you on what is around you bcz the graphics are so primitive.
Based on the description I thought it would be really interesting. But after watching a YouTube video, I was like, eehhhhh, not for me.
Why post an article that I can only read half of?
You know what, as long as its a once in a while thing. Dont sweat it. Judgy calorie counting apps can suck it. You do you!
The nintendo switch isn’t trying to compete with Microsoft or Sony. They do their own thing on purpose.
What does nepotism have to do with anything? Also, pretty much all nazi’s fled germany after the war, so they wouldn’t have been in charge of rebuilding the German government…
You’re apparently the only one if this comment chain is any indication.
The implications of a police officer in a casket absolutely is.
Not really, I just don’t automatically wish death on people as a default state. They’re still human beings. You’re just trying to stir shit up for no reason.
I don’t like police officers as a general rule. But I also don’t really advocate for death as a blanket statement. This is just a poor taste joke.
Edit: Jesus, ya’ll can stop replying now. No wonder we have genocide, so easy to dehumanized others, and not even notice.
That’s fair, my issue was mostly in how much testing was done before things were allowed on the road.
Im not gonna call out companies by name. I didn’t work for any of them, we supplied them with the motor control systems they were using, laying all their stuff on top of ours.
I didn’t think the advanced engineering division we had that did do self driving stuff was all that great either tho.
Heavy duty truck industry
It’s gonna take a lot more data and trust building to convince me to get in an autonomous piloted vehicle. After working in an industry that does autonomous driving and seeing some of it for myself, i don’t trust it at all.
Maybe i should have called it forced labor. They don’t exactly have a choice.
We never made slavery illegal in the U.S. That’s why we make various things a crime, send people to prison, and then bam, free labor for pennies on the dollar, and sometimes nothing. And the BEST PART, they aren’t subject to labor laws, so they can treat them subhuman, and create working conditions that would make you want to puke. Yay capitalism, where everyone is just a number.
I feel like this could be applied to more than the Linux community. Regardless, this was a heartwarming read.
This is a generalization that has some merit. but ultimately, generalizing an entire group of people and making assumptions about them isn’t a good way to judge an individuals ability to code.
See what they can do, and then judge.
Why? Anybody who’s played it knows it only has a passing resemblance to Pokémon. Once you play the game, you realize how different it is in its mechanics and story from pokemon.
Nintendo doesn’t own the idea of monster taming. The idea predates their company by quite a bit actually.
