Almost none so not zero?
The Polish going with Ziggy Stardust. And why the hell not, seems like a fine fellow to bring gifts.
I like diamonds, my wife calls me a magpie. I buy her jewelry so I get to look at it while she wears it. That being said, I only buy jewelry with artificial diamonds for my better half. She jokingly reacts affronted when I tell her, with an incredulous face she will go “What? No children died for this? Some husband you are!”
More like a broken clock: correct eventually for a short time.
Ordinarily I would agree. But this is Argentina we’re talking about. Over 40% of Argentinians worked for the government and it was and probably still is the most regulated country in the world. For decades the unions had policy in an iron grip and the Peronites would pass one subsidizing law after the other while not having the money to pay for it all. So they printed more money. And more. And more.
And this kept going for decades, almost a century now (this started in 1930 with a military coup). Since then, Argentina has defaulted on its foreign debt obligations so often they lost all outside investment while having rampant inflation. And subsequent governments just kept printing money and introducing more regulations and social programs.
Argentina is sitting on a ton of natural resources, the country should be rich as hell, but because no foreign investor will touch it, nothing happens. And I haven’t even mentioned the rampant corruption and clientelism yet, which is also a massive problem.
Milei is a strange character, but his chainsaw politics are absolutely warranted and he is going after corruption as well. I just hope he manages to see it through so that Argentina can stop being an economic backwater. He only cares about the economy because the economy of Argentina is so completely and utterly fucked up, there is little else he should care about.
There are plenty of toll evaders, homeless, minorities, and otherwise lesser people whose lives you could have taken, and were that the case I would not feel so inclined to mete out such a harsh sentence but in this instance you leave me no choice but to impose the harshest ruling possible.
Never change, The Onion, never change!
Edit: alright, I assumed it was the Onion based on the community. But sure, it was some other site.
I just pay whatever they ask without fishing for a discount. When they offer a discount I tell them that’s really not necessary and I’m happy to pay full price. But if they keep insisting, I will take the discount, not going to argue over that.
I disagree with the paying more, that could well be interpreted as offensive, as it makes it seem they need a handout. Just let them set the price and don’t beg/demand/fish for a discount.
That’s Sidney Sweeney, btw. You’re welcome.
That savage is known for driving his golf carts over the greens. That alone shows how mentally unfit he is to be responsible for anything. That being said, I’ve never seen him drive an actual car, so I have no idea.

Seems like what Dominique Pelicot considered his wife to be. Not an example I am willing to follow, I’ll tell you that.
Same, I just checked and for over a year they have been sending mails saying that my account has been deactivated and is at risk of deletion. It included a link to delete my account, but then I had to log in, so I figured “alright, I’ll just ride it out and have them delete it” but it just kept going for ages. Last one I received was in August 2024, so it seems like it stopped now but holy shit were they annoying.
Edit: checked my spam folder and they’re still sending this crap. I had forgotten I have it categorized as junk now.
Well, the laws create the conditions. In Europe health care tends to be strictly regulated, so you don’t get these wolves in health care. It’s actually considered quite a dull career that pays decently but nothing out of the ordinary, even for the higher ups.
I used to play Tetrinet or Blocktrix as it was later called. Man, I miss that game, but last I checked the servers were all empty :(
He technically didn’t brainwash them into setting him free. He convinced the pirates to double his ransom and to let him walk free around the camp, where he often and loudly told them that he would come back and have them all killed, once his ransom was paid and they let him go. Then he did exactly that.
I don’t really like Gnome as I like to tinker with everything, so I use KDE. I also have a laptop with Cinnamon, which is also pretty good.
If this goes to trial, and it probably will at one point provided he gets arrested, there is a decent chance of jury nullification.
Not with that attitude it doesn’t!
I don’t get why you are being downvoted. That is exactly what his position is, which would be clear to anyone who actually read the article.
