Almost like some kind of theater?
You can USUALLY get by with HP universal PCL drivers for most any printers, regardless of brand.
Yes, I know HP is parasitic in the ink/toner department, but PCL is pretty universal itself.
Supposedly Microsoft will be dumping printer drives here soon anyway for IPP connectors.
Manny areas have a rule where it is okay within 3 years. Look up Romeo and Juliet laws in your area.
Don’t be so hard on this person. They did it all for the Nooki.
Next up, Supreme Court allows Trump to remove senator.
Oh, shit!
What if you are like me and you don’t fucking swear?
They will start shooting young girls for sport. They will run out of boys, eventually.
You got it. It will be one click to search, one click up bypass the chatbot, and a scroll to bypass the AI overview.
What are you using for search?
It does make me sigh to see him go back on his philanthropic past, but he was absolutely cut throat in creating MS.
Not news.
Edit: While factual, it is not new information.
There will most likely always be humans owning the resources. We are big on self governance, and some humans will always insist on sitting on the top and leading. Whether this is at a small scale of a human running a shop filled with vending machines, medium scale of a human or board of people running a large business, or massive scale of a world emperor who has claimed ownership of all land and wishes to direct the organization of things with a group of specialists.
The dream is to have a world of automation, where all needs are met. The reality is that humans always want more. People will attempt to control resources to amass power. Those who have power will likely use humans for entertainment.
Outside of these things, there will be levels of rejection of automated care. I expect there will be artisans who wish to impart the human touch. People will want human media. I can foresee a cult of humanity, who insists on making everything from raw materials.
The average city dweller may have it good, but those on the fringe of society and people who live in rural areas will be the easiest targets.
I have heard it repeated several times. It’s based on how virtual assistants are allowed to listen over your mic for keywords, applications like Facebook requesting full microphone access, and people with stories of getting ads for things after having a conversation about the same.
The third could be a form of recency bias; I just learned about this, and now I see it everywhere. Also, it’s easy to know who is in your circle, and items you recently searched could be advertised to your friends. I saw this by getting sudden ads for handguns after getting an Amazon link from my gun crazy friend.
Here is mine Samsung Android 14. Connect is not mentioned, but I believe it uses a significant portion of the battery.
What I find interesting is that I have not had Pandora open in almost a whole day.
It’s alive and well. My independent research shows that torrents of users are using it for large foss packages, as well as various media.
This duck in a hoodie shows how both technologies can function together. https://hackyourmom.com/en/pryvatnist/bittorrent-cherez-i2p-dlya-anonimnogo-obminu-fajlamy/
I had a friend on IRC who disappeared then. Never heard from her again. It’s my hope she just was displaced for a while and eventually found a good place again.
That’s why Facebook exists.
