Yeah, but maybe we don’t make that point on the statement that reminds people to be mindful of their beliefs and where they picked them up from. Feels like a thing that we should maybe encourage in people more, if anything.

I see what you’re saying, but I’m done talking about this. Your logic is circular at its base, so there’s nothing to talk about.
No, they aren’t. Any one who thinks they are is more susceptible.
Humans are social creatures, propaganda is a social contagion.
The only people who could be would be those with no ties to anyone. Kind of a nonstarter for the whole “cooperative survival strategy” that humans got going on.
Neither
Brass instruments require the buzzing of lips in addition to the air in order to work. Since most of the dolphin’s air comes out the blowhole, but that has no mechanism to vibrate like lips it’s impossible.

To do so is to inflict the fear of a lynching on your loved ones and community. So if you hear that a black person committed suicide by hanging, assume lynching.

My friend insisted it was supposed to be played like that. It was my first real fps, so I put in effort to learn it. Too late to change it now.

chuckleslord@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•Democracy falls in majority of countries worldwide7·9 days agoThat’s not what I mean. I mean if you’re sarcastically an asshole, assholes use your comment to recruit kids into thinking this is a normal way to act. The /s isn’t so you don’t attract nazis or attract them to the platform. It’s so they can’t use your lame joke to make the world an actively worse place to be.
Sarcasm really only works in juxtaposition to who you are as a person. This is the internet, I don’t know who the fuck you are. Kinda ruins the humour if you think about it for more than two seconds.

… is pickle a North American thing? I know that German wouldn’t have the exact same word, but the fact that that’s clearly pronounced the same as the English “gherkin” is damning for pickle being the default.
Is there a point to all this judgment or…?
Oh no! The economic reality for young people requires them to sell themselves as influencers to make a living because we don’t have actual, useful employment any more. Better make sure I cast my judgment on those who found some modicum of success doing so, so that the world and I know that I’m better than them! /s
Yeah, they look so similar /j
Obviously it’s cause they’re similar and came out at the same time. And dealt with similar themes. And features ants as the protagonists. While Antz looks like it was rushed to get a release window beside A Bug’s Life, it was actually in development for far longer.
Antz did it better (though not better animated)
Is there another punchline besides cousin fucking?
Yes, that is the generalization that the article pushed. It’s not true, because developers are not homogeneous. The point of my statement is “if you are a developer, ignore this because it is not true. You don’t have some sort of power that makes you immune to marketing. You’re just as susceptible as the rest of us, just in a different way. Ya know, like everyone else is”
