I live in a tourist town and can confirm, they all suck in their own ways. Also, sometimes non-tourists also suck. Also, most of the time people suck.

Lmao I live on the Canadian side of the border and my first thought was Americans (doesnt matter the ethnicity).
Solidarity for hating on each other as tourists 🤝🏽
Israel killed 86 civilians yesterday alone.
I don’t condone these deaths either, it’s just some important context that mainstream media conveniently forgets.
My partner is very much in your boat. At home and any time we go out to “safe” spaces (like queer spaces) he is very open and absolutely enjoys himself. We got pedicures the other day and he had sparkly blue toenails for like a week and loved it.
Unfortunately, he works in the auto industry and we live in a more conservative area, so whenever we’re not in a “safe” space, I can 100% see him reverting to a more “hardened” version of himself. I know it’s just self-preservation, but I can see (and he knows) how much happier he is when he doesn’t have to be that way. It really sucks and I wish I could help him out of his shell a bit more, but I totally understand the shitty circumstances.
The patriarchy hurts every single one of us.
Or maybe a majority.
100%. People (not just women) are attracted to confidence. A cute, caring, and confident man who doesn’t give a fuck about toxic masculinity definitely checks off a lot of boxes as an absolute stud. Modern day women with any sort of self respect are done with patriarchal bullshit.
You and your partner sound awesome. Just wanted to say though that enjoying sex has absolutely nothing to do with being ace. There’s lots of us that like it and many others who feel neutral or repulsed by it. You can enjoy the cake without craving any specific cake, and that’s just as valid as the person who doesn’t crave the cake and don’t want to eat it.
Protesting, volunteering, and finding other people who still have energy and hope that we can make something better.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think everything will suddenly get better but the more you do, the more you’ll find little wins here and there, and those small wins make it feel worth it.
Isn’t that what that billionaire Nazi is doing?
If we are in a simulation, I’m pretty sure it’s already been hacked or infected by a bad virus at least.
Not me reading mate in Spanish as in matar.
So like burning your bridges in English? Although I guess that’s more for people. Maybe more like pulling up the ladder behind you.
That piece of shit literally just called all of Palestine a “Hamas state”. Carney is a fucking prick and does not stand for working Canadians, but I wouldn’t punch him in the face as hard as I’d punch the other motherfucker.
Same. I listen to the Sleep With Me Podcast. Something so soothing about that man’s droning voice.
I don’t remember why, but I tagged you as “brilliant mf”. Good post. Please take them all.
I wish I could delete what I say in real life too tbh
Assuming you don’t have access to therapy, but I do think that’s your best bet.
It might help when speaking to yourself to talk to yourself as if you were either a close friend or your as a child. Would you say any of those things to your best friend if they were upset? Probably not, so just train yourself not to speak to yourself that way.
If you think you have an actual anger problem then maybe finding a good outlet for anger would help like exercise or art.
I think an easier interpretation than the “owners vs workers” in this day and age is, are they billionaires. If you’re not a billionaire or close to it, you should be on the side of the working class.
The billionaires that make up only 1% of the population ans own nearly half the wealth of the entire world are the problem.
My mom just told me about British airways flight 5390.
While the aircraft was flying over Didcot, England, an improperly installed windscreen panel separated from its frame, causing the captain to be partially ejected from the aircraft. He was held in place through the window frame for 20 minutes until the first officer landed at Southampton Airport.
Whoever tried to pass this one pilot thing should be fired.
There are, but are they $1.25?
You know what’s interesting about your comment? I’m Mexican-Canadian and in Canada I have always been “the mexican”. When I lived in the UK, I was “the Canadian one”, to distinguish me from the American person with the same name. This was despite the fact that I am Mexican born. So you never know, in Europe, you might still just be that American guy.
