Not the same word but in the many Filipino dialects, apparently there is no word for hike. All my relatives could only come up with the equivalent for “walk”.

I should have clarified that it is HSI that is there, not ICE.

The thing that is being buried by most headlines and maybe articles is that ICE is a part of Department of Homeland Security. One such part of DSH is Homeland Security Investigations. People are conflating the two. HSI has been for many years at such international events with a U.S. presence to conduct investigations regarding international crime and terrorism.
