Interesting read. Thanks for sharing. If you don’t mind me asking, does your wife experience burnout and if so, what kinds of strategies do you all employ to manage that burnout?

I know you jest but education attracts a lot of very passionate people. These people pour their hearts and souls into what they do.
Same but the throttling on “busy” towers makes even basic web page loading pretty shitty. Decent deal still but the throttling is really bad
Yeah this person was definitely a polar bear
It’s called fashion. look it up.
I feel like an alien or something. I just feel so disconnected from my fellow Americans.
And what’s next after that? People having traditions and celebrating things the way they want to for their enjoyment? -___-

I assume you are in the Dalton area? Maybe Trenton? No need to answer, it’s just interesting to see a fellow lemmyite from the same general region. This sounds like an interesting hobby? Care to share more about how/why you are into dumpster diving for lightbulbs?
I agree, but at this point it kills the value for me. Why am I paying for the game and a monthly subscription?
Yeah wtf. The steel frame is going to last an order of magnitude longer than the batteries
I hear “leverage” thrown around a lot where I work. I now hate that word.
I kinda get what you’re saying but that’s not why he’s celebrated
I installed Linux mint on my laptop the other day because of various sustained long term annoyances with Windows. Despite some minor hiccups it only took about 30 minutes. It’s been such a great experience so far.
Yep, my main has around 400 and I don’t even want to think about adding up all the many alts and dead HC characters at this point … They don’t call it world of warcrack for no reason. I will say I have had a ton of fun with it over the last 15 years. I’ve only played casually witha few very brief stints of raiding a little more seriously.
