janNatan@lemmy.mlto Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•What if LGBT adopts a white and grey striped flag to replace the rainbow? Then Florida would have to abolish crosswalks entirely.21·4 days agoSo, your question got me wondering. I went on a whole search down the rabbit hole, and I eventually came upon a YouTube video that summarizes it briefly and elegantly:
You could make a second profile for an additional save, but then DLC gets complicated.
I always make a second profile to play through Pokemon games a second time.
I use “Beelink” brand mini PCs for this purpose. (They are the same form factor as your photo.) I have three, and they’re all good. I’ve used multiple distros on them with no compatibility issues, but MX Linux is my daily driver.
They have fans built in, but the cases on the higher end ones are metal, which helps with heat dissipation. The only downside with that is that sometimes USB peripherals get super hot while plugged in, and I had a mouse dongle that would overheat and malfunction. A simple USB hub fixed this problem (the hub itself apparently didn’t mind getting hot).
I use a “Mini Keyboard with touchpad” on the ones connected to TVs. I recommend those as well. Rii brand is decent.
You should know that you suck.

janNatan@lemmy.mlto Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•"Wait, was that shampoo? Yeah.. Welp, I guess we're washing our body with shampoo today."12·11 days agoShampoo is pH balanced for your hair. Body wash and shower soap are not.
Your hair likes slight acidity, believe it or not. (Look up “apple cider vinegar use in hair”) And, soap is basic. Using soap/body wash in hair will strip your hair of too much oil and throw of your hair’s pH balance. This usually makes your hair dry and frizzy.
Keep in mind we used to use soap in hair all the time, back in the day. But people bathed a LOT less often back then. They needed the extra cleaning power. Plus, the less frequent use dried out their hair less.
Which movie is this from?

Cheerwine Zero exists. It is a black cherry flavored soda. Idk if it is available outside of the SE USA, where I live. Wikipedia says “It has been produced since 1917, claiming to be ‘the oldest continuing soft drink company still operated by the same family.’” So, maybe less evil? I do know it tastes quite good.

Maybe not the oldest available, but it’s the oldest thing I’ve ever bought. I have mine framed in the hall.

I’ve heard electric kettles are slower here because of the limits of our electrical system. I do have a kettle for the stove, though. I also rarely drink tea.

janNatan@lemmy.mlto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How am I supposed to obtain income?5·10 months agoIf you’re a man willing to make gay feet content, then your feet just need to be sweaty or dirty, not sexy. Hairy helps too.
Honestly, the news is probably preventing a lot of suicides.
