I have an ALLPOWERS R600 hooked up to my server rack. It has built-in UPS and will switch to the battery, if the power goes.
However, I also have solar, with its own battery bank + an ATS.
I don’t have the ALLPOWERS setup to provide power from its batteri. Only in case of power failure from the house.
The administration or the moderation? Either way, if that’s your issue, then you know which criteria to look for, on a new server.
What’s wrong with lemmy.world though? It’s the biggest general server and will probably outlast most others.
Shelly plug, integrated into Home Assistant.
For the whole month of November. 60kWh. This is for all my servers and network equipment. On average, it draws around 90 watt.
That’s pretty low with 4 HDD’s. One of my servers use 30 watts. Half of that is from the 2 HDD’s in it.
Most of my family run Linux.
My parents run Linux Mint. It’s simple and looks like Windows. The only thing they need is a browser and LibreOffice.
Some other family members are using ElementaryOS.
The majority of PC users are IT illiterate. They have no idea what the difference between Windows and Linux is or the difference between Chrome and Firefox is.
“This icon is your browser. You know, where you can access the bank. And this icon lets you write documents”.
There was always issues when family members was running Windows. Haven’t had to fix anything after installing Linux instead. Some doesn’t even know they are using Linux. I just said I updated their PC 😅
It’s probably about resources, since the US already have military bases in Greenland and it’s part of NATO.
If there’s a decent speaker as well and the price is okay (probably high though), I could be interested.
We FaceTime a lot, so would use it for that, as well as play music and maybe even use it for Home Assistant.
Something like Fediseer maybe?
Okay thanks.
Where is this from?
Same in Denmark. I think it’s only English that’s weirdly pronouncing it as “double you”, even though the letter “W” is clearly two V’s 😁
It’s a Ukrainian who is suspected of sabotaging the pipeline.
Install this app All you gotta do is install it to a USB and boot from it and then bloat free! 😎
If it’s at the size of an iPhone mini when folded, then I might be interested.
It’s probably being used in a DDOS attack 😅
It’s honestly not that complicated.
You first need an indexer. This is the software that Sonarr, Radarr and Lidarr uses to search for torrents. Prowlarr is an indexer and is where you connect to a tracker.
Then you obviously need a download client. Something like qBittorrent. Then on Radarr, Sonarr and Lidarr you add qBittorrent as the download client.
When you search for a movie on Radarr, it will send the request to Prowlarr, which looks at your tracker and then send the results back to Radarr. When you click the movie you want, then Radarr sends the torrent to the download client aka qBittorrent.
Simple, yes. I probably forgot something though. Plex or Jellyfin to actually watch the content.
Prowlarr > Sonarr > qBittorrent > Jellyfin
