  • Over time, as CPUs get better integrated graphics, it might be worth it. Essentially, if you’re fine with playing last-gen games at ok framerates and you don’t need maxed-out graphics, a mini PC is an option. If you want to play recent AAA blockbusters at 100fps, obviously it’s a big no. But the next generation might get you close to those results on current-gen games.


  • I feel like people want it to be him because they want to know who did it, not because they’re angry but because they want someone to identify with.

    Without wanting to sound like a conspiracy nut, the evidence against him is too convenient. I mean sure he probably did it, but who plans the murder of a high-profile target, escapes the initial manhunt, and then walks around carrying the murder weapon, multiple fake IDs, and a manifesto basically confessing to it? And if you’re the type of person to write a manifesto and expect to be caught, why would you run away in the first place?



  • Tariffs serve a purpose when your goal is to incentivize local production or materials and goods. Make foreign goods more expensive so that local ones are more attractive.

    The common saying is that when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. In this case, all he has is a screwdriver but he thinks it’s a hammer, and he’s looking for nails.


  • The point is that it’s not enriching the exporting country. It’s a tax paid by the importing company to its own government. Europe, Canada, Mexico, and China stand to gain nothing if Trump enacts these tariffs. It will only result in reduced exports by the targeted countries, and the customer paying more.
