Anger can act as a mask or a wall between you and your truer, deeper emotions, sometimes at least. Also, anger is absolutely an emotion, I haven’t heard that disputed, but it doesn’t equal flying into a fit of rage and screaming/throwing shit.

I keep seeing this “buy a gun” advice. Do you have any evidence that a gun will actually help? Your likelihood of dying to a gun and specifically that gun skyrocket, and there is little in the way of evidence for it being effective self defense (that I have found):

I can understand wanting to feel protected and safe, but introducing an efficient killing device into the situation may not be the safest choice.

They also say the controller mapping is a challenge in the emulation software, but doable. It’s the wii version so I bet the aiming and whatnot is going to be wonky when using a controller or kbm vs the other releases.

The majority of users won’t even touch the command line if they’re on a noob friendly distro. Been that way for a long time. Only Gentoo users are compiling from source, and even then, not that frequently

I use AI as a rubber duck or to get general ideas all the time. For example, I wanted to make a “hand” of cards splayed out using css, so I asked AI and it gave me a nice starting point I could tweak without having to fuss with figuring the formula to tilt which element at which angle. It’s also quite good at guessing what boring boilerplate code I need to type next.

Another example: I was trying to figure out an architecture that adhered to OOP/SOLID principles for a specific task, and asked for an example implementation. I was able to test and think through a ton of permutations before landing on what I was taking to prod.

I think it’s a nice tool for the toolbelt, but it isn’t replacing a programmer anytime soon. You have to know what to ask and be able to intelligently analyze what it spits out to you

What of the similarities (Virgin birth, resurrection, etc.) to other religions? what about the constant translations re-translations and mis-translations of the bible? What about the Hindu and Buddhists that believe in their faith just as fervently because they too were indoctrinated from birth? is your book older than their book? Is your God more plausible than their God?

regardless of all that, if you make the claim that God exists or that he’s three people or he’s got 17 arms, the burden of proof is on you, and I guarantee you can’t meet it.
