4·2 years agoAssuming you’re asking about the password manager?
Most important for me is that with Bitwarden I can share passwords with someone else.
What are you using instead of Google Photos?
I’m the other way round, email was the first thing I degoogled. It’s Photos I don’t know how to replace.
Took me longer than I’d care to admit to figure out Red Bull vodka is another name for vodka Red Bull.

17·2 years agoI actually think switch email wasn’t too bad (just take it slow!). It’s Google Drive I actually don’t have a good replacement for.
That and Google Photos.
Suggestions welcome.

5·2 years agoYeah this is what I did over a couple of years. Move things over slowly as much as you be bothered… do the accounts and people you use the most first. Eventually you’ll only have junk going to your Google address and you’ll be happy to see it go.
Some (most?) email providers will have tools to help you move from Gmail and keep contacts etc.

Yeah, I’ve thought the same. It’s like with ads on websites - ads are served from different domains and as blockers work by denying requests to those domains. If they really wanted they could serve the ads from the same domain as the rest of the website. I guess one day they might but so far it must not be worth it.
