Unfortunately it’s not only HP.
Unfortunately it’s not only HP.
I honestly remember using this often because it could display .docx/.doc files in a nicer way than libre office. In addition, I never learned how to use word because the interface was too complicated.
When I had to write sth, I used latex and when I needed to view/slightly edit .docx, I used this in a VM.
At least in my country and in the middle of the EU, manuals are still more popular than automatic ones. Usually because no one really wants an electric cars (due to lack of infrastructure and high price), people just get the basic petrol cars with manual transmissions.
Now it’s time to make batteries user replaceable ;)
The moment when pirating a movie gives you better experience than actually paying for it.
LTSC IoT Enterprise 2021 will last till 2031
Is it because they want to use it for sth or just because it’s “cool”?
I agree, features are nice and I also would enjoy trying to drive one. But in a for a long term usage, I bet the reliability will be an issue and also some Tesla shenanigans such as 20k for the battery.
Thing is: I personally don’t give a shit about features. I like simple and basic vehicles that last for many years.
It was supposed to be a utility vehicle but it genuinely failed. If I wanted a utility vehicle, I would get Toyota Land cruiser 79. For a utility vehicle, you need something reliable, something which does not have 246 useless electronic features and something you can drive while wearing gloves (you cannot so this with tesla considering every setup is made via the display).
Tbh, to me is seems like a car which is made purely for city and for the ones who just want to show off. It definitely is not a proper workhorse.
If I wanted a utility vehicle (which would be abused), I would look for:
Nothing more is truly needed because it just adds the probability of failure.
Who would buy this piece of crap? Like really?
i would rather like a complete idiot than causing a death
Google no longer even tries to pretend not being evil.
Switching to Linux was a great decision. Windows has gone downhill since 2009
The only thing from office that has no competition is Excel. If you type your documents in Word and not in sth like Latex, you are just wasting your time. Same for presentations - they can be done in Latex/Slidev which are both better than Microsoft alternative. No mention needed about Access.
I get that people use it even though it’s mostly a piece of garbage - they are simply get used to having Word.
Google can fuck off with its WEI. That’s all I can say.
Nobody asked for drm for web.
Valid, this should be tackled. Does the battery heating help?
Guys, it’s fine that you like them, feel free to use them.
On the other hand, you cannot argue against the facts that these cars explode from time to time, the infrastructure for them is nowhere near as good as for regular cars and that charging and range are worse. So no, they are far from ready.
To me it seems like electric cars are meant to be a replacement for gasoline cars, yet they are worse almost at everything (today). They are basically a solution to a non-existent problem.
Some argue they are more ecological, yet this is debatable. I don’t know but explosions don’t seem too ecological to me and the fact you can throw out a huge battery cell approximately every 8 years does not seem ecological either. Especially when we add the cost of the battery replacement, it does not make sense to replace it. Economically, it’s a better decision to just buy a new car, which again creates additional waste… EDIT: If you need to push an alternative fuel through, I see more potential in hydrogen. The infrastructure is even worse though :/
The logo is now black, so I understand that they don’t want blue in it.
This does not mean i support twitter’s actions
I will end it here as I refuse to repeating the same relevant points over and over again.
EVs, at least where I live, cannot be taken for longer trips.
I don’t need to chat with my car, I have friends. I need 3 pedals, steering wheel and gear lever, so I can use a car as a car.
