These censoring systems are made for advertisers. The point is to keep ads on.

But more content is more engagement, critical for a lot of social media. So they do the bare minimum to censor. Kinda like “malicious compliance”? idk, ojos que no ven corazón que no siente

Old versions keep their license, its something. And a fork may start. EDIT: Repo is reseted. Only one initial commit. Annoucement: https://github.com/akaMrNagar/Mindful/discussions/1 Appearently he didn’t recieve enough contibutions for his tastes but his repo was still cloned, so he closed it. I couldn’t check the original license yet.

I think Twitter is so, so awful but used, so the bar is in hell. Most things are an improvement compared to Twitter. And ppl use to praise corporations before communities (if they remember communities at all), so, in this case, Bluesky takes all credit.

Bluesky has useful tools. But (almost) all lists were made by the community of Bluesky users. Curation was made by users.

Probably, dogfooding is common.
