I really like Wild Wild West, I didn’t watch it for forever because of how hated it is/was but thought it was actually funny and enjoyed the mix of steampunk and goofyness. Kevin Kline is always great.

I also like Jingle All the Way and watch it every few years, it’s perfectly watchable until the very end when it collapses under a terrible CGI spectacle that just doesn’t work

I went to see it at noon after dropping the car off for work and was literally the only one in the theatre. I thought it was pretty good.

I’ve been dealing with confirmed whooping cough for 2 months now, it’s the worst. When I got it, I saw a doctor, got tested and went on a week of antibiotics… thought it was over until I had to run for a bus and had no lung capacity. Even still, felt better until getting a common cold a month later and the whole thing returned and won’t go away. It’s not just the cough, it’s also splitting migraines and whole body pain emanating from the ribs from coughing so much and so violently, and a lack of sleep and all those symptoms too. Luckily it was just me who got the worst of it.

Imagine companies using YouTube videos to train their AI customer service reps. You call in, and for a while think you’re having a conversation with a person, but weirdly every minute and a half or so it’s just randomly peppered with that metal gear solid alert sound, the inevitable waowwww sound effect, Michael Scott and Dr. Evil soundboard clips, then when you start getting suspicious that it may not actually be a real human on the other line they randomly go on an ad read for hellofresh out of nowhere

Like Musk, a lot of those videos are straight up stolen too. He stole and verbatim reposted a video I uploaded on YouTube once. Was a big reason I deleted that channel, that any apparent sense of irony could just be stripped so easily. (No he did not give credit, not that it was OC, it was a clip from TV I captured myself).

The thing that bothers me the most about him is that the election is seemingly in the bag yet he still has to lean into the USA Republican culture wars. Buddy, going after Trans people and the like isn’t going to win you any votes you don’t already have, what is the PURPOSE for bringing up this nonsense. Just annoys and disgusts me to the core.
