I used the following components:
Mainboard Topton N100 (AliExpress) This is actually a BKHD 1264 NAS 136,69 € RAM 16 GB Crucial DDR5-4800 (Mindfactory) 40,78 € Case Jonsbo N2 (???) 138,83 € PSU 300 W bequiet SFX Power 3 (Mindfactory) 50,39 € M.2 system drives 2 X 128 GB Patriot P.300 (Mindfactory) 25,78 € 392,47 € For storage I bought used 4 TB drives from ebay for around 40 € each.
Now the system is running 5 x 4 TB in RAID 6 as well as a 256 SATA SSD I had laying around as cache.
The system is using 25 Watts in idle with those 5 HDDs, 1 SATA SSD and 2 M.2 SSDs.
It’s a bit more you’ve been asking for but this option would offer you more expandability down there road.
Sockenklaus@sh.itjust.worksto Memes@lemmy.ml•My brain can only handle so much Minecraft11·8 months agoYou’re correct but you apparently don’t know how exhausting it can be to listen to kids talking from the second they wake up until the very moment they fall asleep.
I am very bad at filtering input (especially sound and touch) and sadly the Christmas days, when daycare was closed, were complete torture for me.

It’s not even the AfD. Most of the politic parties don’t or at least didn’t want to touch wealth tax.
Come to Germany. We had a wealth tax until 1996 and whenever it’s revival is publicly discussed you can see that the majority is against it even when the majority of our people would never have to pay it and would profit from it. It’s mind boggling that the people are still willing to defend our current “don’t tax the rich” policy…

No they don’t and that’s the worrying part: In the best case they think it has been long enough since the Shoa happenend and Germany should look forward and not backwards. In the worst case the flat out deny that it happened altogether…

It’s basically a parody of overly flashy knighthood tales with all the pomp you can imagine. Has a decently sized map and lots of content too and kinda feels like an epilogue to the main game.
I full-heartedly recommend picking it up!
Sockenklaus@sh.itjust.worksto Gaming@lemmy.ml•Are souls games really as hard as everyone says?1·11 months agoOh lol I totally misread that. 🤣
Of course you’re correct: persistence is key and much more important than consistency (as in: perfectly nail every dodge, which is my problem).
Like many others already said: Probably the best take is to “understand” that dying is not failure but part of the progression system. But instead of grinding experience points to progress your character (which is totally possible in dark souls) you grind real experience by repeating difficult parts over and over again and progress as a player.
It’s actually extremely clever game design.

Being consistent is actually the hardest part of the games for me…

Thanks for your explanation!
Today, I read about spontaneous and responsive desire (I learned something new :)). Spontaneous desire means that you get aroused mentally first, and then your body responds. Responsive desire means that you need to get into the activity first, and only then do you become mentally aroused.
Is this the same thing?
Would you mind expanding a little bit on the topic of “reactive libido”? I googled it but don’t think I full grasped the concept.
Sockenklaus@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are the best fictional books you’ve ever read?5·1 year agoBrandon Sanderson writes amazingly rich fantasy stories an created wild lore heavy worlds in his books. But his books are also behemoths with thousands upon thousands of pages that require some serious time and commitment to read. Maybe not the best for beginners to start getting into fiction.
I’d recommend the Harry Potter books because they start easy and get more mature with each book. Also the story and lore is widely known and liked by a lot of people.
Sockenklaus@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are the Top 3 TV Shows that define your (personal) youth?12·1 year agoThis is actually a pretty hard question. At first I couldn’t think of any show but the more I thought about it the more came to my mind.
I narrowed it down to these three:
- MAS*H
- Hogan’s Heroes
- Dinosaurs
Not because I’m so old but because they where first aired in my home country in the early and mid nineties when I was at my granny’s place a lot of afternoons.
Later I moved town, kinda lost touch to my grandma and wasn’t really there when she got very old and then died.
Looking back it’s really sad that I wasn’t there for someone who spend a whole lot of my childhood with me and in fact was always there for me.
Wouldn’t it be great if Rheinmetall were socialized and its profits went to the public instead of shareholders?
